2009 West Texas Fair and Rodeo

TICKET PRICING SCHEDULE

September 10-19

To pre-purchase tickets, stop by the Expo Center General Offices between 8:30a.m. and 5:00p.m. Monday - Friday before the Fair or call 325-677-4376 for "will call" purchases.

GENERAL ADMISSION FEES
General Admission Tickets provide access to fair, rodeo, live entertainment, exhibit buildings, and midway booths and food concessions.   General Admission prices exclude carnival ride fees. See Daily Visitor Schedule for dates and times.

Gate admission is free of charge Sept. 11, 14-18 until 1 p.m. (weekdays).  Stop by for lunch!
Gate Admission prices below are applicable after 1:00 p.m. weekdays and all day Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 8 a.m. 

1. General Admission, Adults: $7.00
2. General Admission, Students (K-College): $4.00
3. General Admission, Children under 5: Free
4. General Admission plus Rodeo-Reserved Box Seats: $15.00
5. Automobiles, No parking fee
6. Week-long General Admission with unlimited access to carnival rides:  $60.00 (includes unlimited ride passes).  Sept 10-19.  Passes must be purchased prior to end of day, Wednesday, Sept. 9th.

CARNIVAL RIDE FEES

  • Carnival rides open 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. - Monday - Friday and 1 p.m. - 11 p.m. - Saturday and Sunday
  • A strip of 24 tickets (strip tickets): $20
  • Single tickets:  $1 each
  • Kiddie rides require 2-4 tickets - All other rides require 3-5 tickets
  • Armbands providing access to all rides are available on Sept 10 (Sneak-A-Peek), Sept 13 (Family Day with Subway Coupon), Sept 15 for Military personnel, Sept 17 on Cantastic Day.   Please see below SPECIAL ADMISSION FEES  for details on each opportunity to purchase armbands.

Note:  OFFICERS OF THE FAIR, EXHIBITORS, CONCESSIONAIRES, AND OTHER EMPLOYEES MUST PAY ADMISSION PRICES IN FULL BEFORE ACCESS TO GROUNDS..
 

SPECIAL ADMISSION FEES - *Armbands enable access to all carnival rides with no individual ride charges.

SNEAK-A-PEEK – Thursday, September 10 - 5 p.m. to closing. Free Admission to fairgrounds. Armbands* may be purchased for $20.00 at gate. Most or all food concessions will be open; however, no exhibit buildings will be open. 

COLLEGE STUDENT DAY – Friday, September 11. All college students admitted free with current college ID. Ride tickets are purchased separately.

SCHOOL DAYS – Saturday–Tuesday, September 12-15. School day tickets good only on these days. (Tickets will be distributed to schools in the Big Country area by the Fair Office upon request from school officials.)

SUBWAY FAMILY DAY – Sunday, September 13 - 1 p.m. to closing. Armbands* are $25.00 without a coupon, $20.00 with a coupon from most local Subway stores..  Sponsored by Subway.

DOLLAR RIDE NIGHT – Monday, September 14. All rides will be $1.00 each.

MILITARY DAY – Tuesday, September 15. Special Admission - Free gate to all persons presenting a Military ID. $15 carnival armband*. Thank you for your service.

SENIOR CITIZENS’ DAY – Wednesday, September 16. Free admission to all citizens 60 years old and older. Must show proof of age.

CANTASTIC NIGHT – Thursday, September 17 - 5 p.m. to closing. Sponsored by Coca-Cola. Free admission to the fairgrounds for 6 Coca-Cola cans or any product cans produced by Coca-Cola. Armbands may be purchased for $20.00. The armbands provide admission to all the carnival rides desired that night.
