The 2022 West Texas Fair & Rodeo will be held September 9-17. The theme for the fair is “Western Nights and Carnival Lights”. We are seeking your help as a volunteer to help make the fair a memorable experience for all who attend!
As a volunteer you will receive a West Texas Fair & Rodeo cap. You will also receive two tickets for Fair entrance for each shift you work and two tickets to one of the PRCA Rodeo performances (Friday, Sept. 9, Thursday, Sept. 15, or Friday, Sept. 16)
We will operate three (3) entry gates (A, 3 and H) with three (3) shifts on both Saturdays, one (1) shift on weekdays and two (2) shifts on Sunday. We will need ticket sellers and takers at each of the gates. Many people enjoy working together, so feel free to invite your spouse or friends!
As in the past, we know some of you can work every day, others several days and some only a few days. We will appreciate your working as many shifts as possible.
If you have difficulties online, please contact the Expo Center office and we will be happy to help you. Also, the volunteer office staff took the liberty of assigning you as an Event Staff volunteer, as is indicated above and by the online link you will follow. If you wish to work a different job, please call the office. Our number is 325-677-4376.
As always, we do ask that volunteers refrain from the intake of adult beverages while working your shift.
There have been many changes to the protocols at the West Texas Fair & Rodeo. We ask you to attend an instructional meeting on Thursday, September 1 at 6:00 pm in the WHC Ranch House.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. You add so very much to the Fair each year. We could not do it without you.
SEE YOU AT THE FAIR!!
